Woodwork is a journey.

When I was a kid playing with Lincoln Logs and Legos, I knew back then I wanted to work with my hands. After a tumultuous adolescence, I finally learned that my trade was woodworking. Once I discovered that, I dove in head first. Cut my first dovetails backwards, met my future wife, and started a trade. I completed the Cabinetmaking and Millwork course at College of the Redwoods in 2020 and am now a freelance furniture maker.

My style of woodwork is hybrid. I use plenty of power tools and traditional hand tools. I enjoy making things inspired by the Shakers and aspire to make things in the Arts and Crafts style. I put a lot of work into every piece. I only use domestic woods such as cherry, maple, white oak and walnut. I am lucky to live in the lovely redwoods where I can come across old growth on occasion.
